Active Secret Clearance or higher is mandatory.  

5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree is required.  4 years of additional experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.  


We are seeking a Linux Administrator with an active Secret Clearance or higher to manage and maintain Linux systems in secure, mission-critical environments. The role includes installing, configuring, and optimizing Linux servers, ensuring compliance with DoD standards (e.g., STIGs), and performing routine monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Linux systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement security patches, manage compliance, and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Automate administrative tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Maintain documentation and support disaster recovery efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance or higher.
  • 5+ years of Linux administration experience.
  • Ability to keep systems modern by employing emerging capabilities such as Robot Process Automation (RPA) tools and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI) bots when appropriate.
  • Familiarity with DoD security standards and configuration management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
