This is a hybrid role with 3 days/week onsite in Washington, DC anticipated and 2 days/week working from home.
Position Summary:
The Data Pipeline Developer will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines for the IRS Enterprise Data Platform using tools such as Databricks and Informatica.

Position Summary:
The Data Pipeline Developer will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines for the IRS Enterprise Data Platform using tools such as Databricks and Informatica.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data into Databricks.
- Ensure data pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to support data requirements.
- Participate in system testing and performance tuning.
- Demonstrated development experience with at least two (2) projects of similar size and scope involving Databricks.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL/ELT tools.
- Experience with AWS-based data services preferred.
- Familiarity with federal data environments is advantageous.
