Position Summary
Booker DiMaio is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer / Architect to support a Salesforce environment for a federal educational client in Monterey, CA.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role requiring a broad Salesforce skill set spanning development, architecture, integrations, automation, data migration, security, business analysis, accessibility, testing, and technical documentation. The position will support Salesforce applications, including Salesforce Education Cloud and/or Education Data Architecture (EDA).

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen and able to work primarily onsite in Monterey, CA
  • 8+ years of enterprise application/software development experience
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • 2+ years of Salesforce Flow/workflow automation experience
  • 3+ years of Salesforce security experience
  • 1+ year of Salesforce Education Cloud and/or EDA experience
  • 3+ years of REST/SOAP and API-based integration development using JSON/XML
  • 2+ years of data migration/conversion experience
  • 3+ years gathering business requirements and documenting business processes/workflows
  • Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams
  • 2+ years of web accessibility experience, including Section 508, WCAG 2.1 AA, accessibility testing, and remediation
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, OR 8 additional years of enterprise software development experience
Required Salesforce Certifications

All four certifications are required:
  • Salesforce Administrator
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Application Architect
  • Salesforce Integration Architect
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, configure, customize, and support Salesforce applications
  • Develop Apex, LWC, Salesforce Flow, reports, dashboards, and automated workflows
  • Design and implement Salesforce integrations and data migration solutions
  • Design and maintain Salesforce security models and access controls
  • Support Education Cloud/EDA implementations
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop technical documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, and training materials
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and remediation
  • Implement and validate Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements
  • Utilize Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture as appropriate
Work Environment

The primary place of performance is Monterey, CA, with remote work potentially permitted when authorized by the Government.

Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding federal holidays.
Background / Suitability

The selected candidate must be able to successfully complete and maintain the required favorable background investigation and security approval process.

Important
This is not a standard Salesforce Developer position. The client is seeking an unusually broad technical profile combining Salesforce development, architecture, integrations, data migration, security, business analysis, accessibility, and Education Cloud/EDA experience.

Candidates must possess all four required Salesforce certifications and meet the experience requirements above to be considered.
