This position is on-site in Long Island (Hauppauge, NY).

500 hour engagement to start with likely extensions beyond that.

We are in need of a Security Subject Matter Expert/Technical Specialist in Governance, Risk and Compliance.

Responsibilities:

Creating and updating cybersecurity policy and standards based on NIST framework.
Design and implementation of specialized solutions, particularly security or data center technologies.
Identifying relevant Suffolk County cybersecurity laws and regulations.
Defining risk-based compliance audit process against established cybersecurity policies and standards.
Establishment of cybersecurity risk tracking, risk mitigation and risk exception processes.

Minimum Requirements:

10 years of enterprise experience.
Multiple industry and/or vendor certifications.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. (4 years of additional experience can be substituted for a degree).
