We are seeking an experienced DataStage Lead to provide technical leadership and strategic oversight for a large-scale enterprise data integration and analytics environment. This role will lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise data pipelines using IBM InfoSphere DataStage, supporting critical data warehouse and analytics platforms across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ETL development, enterprise data integration, and modern data architectures, while guiding engineering teams responsible for building scalable, high-performance data pipelines that consolidate data from diverse source systems into trusted analytical platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ETL development, enterprise data integration, and modern data architectures, while guiding engineering teams responsible for building scalable, high-performance data pipelines that consolidate data from diverse source systems into trusted analytical platforms.
In this role, the DataStage Lead will oversee the delivery and operational stability of mission-critical data pipelines that support reporting, finance, and enterprise analytics initiatives. Responsibilities include leading data engineering teams, driving improvements in data quality and platform reliability, and partnering with architecture and business stakeholders to evolve the enterprise data platform strategy. This position plays a key role in modernizing legacy ETL environments, supporting cloud-based data platforms, and ensuring scalable, governed data integration solutions that enable data-driven decision making across the business.
Leadership & Program Ownership
- 12+years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, and enterprise data platforms
- 5+years leading large-scale data programs and cross-functional delivery teams
- Proven ability to lead geographically distributed teams and manage multiple workstreams
- Strong experience in PI planning, delivery execution, and dependency management
- Track record of building high-performing engineering and architecture teams
Enterprise Data Architecture & Integration
- Deep experience designing and leading enterprise-scale data integration platforms
- Strong background in data warehousing, lakehouse, and modern data architectures
- Hands-on experience with batch and real-time ingestion pipelines
- Expertise in dimensional modeling, data marts, and analytical data products
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and governed data platforms
Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Strong experience with AWS-based data platforms(Lake Formation, Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, IAM)
- Experience with Azure and Databricks environments is a plus
- Knowledge of containerized workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Experience implementing data governance, security, and privacy controls
Operational Excellence & Reliability
- Strong experience managing mission-critical EDW operations
- Proven ability to improve system reliability, data quality, and SLA performance
- Experience with production monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis
- Ability to balance platform stability with innovation and modernization
Stakeholder & Business Partnership
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and business leadership
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Proven track record of building trust with senior leadership
Strategic Thinking & Execution
- Ability to define multi-year data platform strategy and roadmap
- Strong decision-making skills across architecture, tooling, and vendor selection
