Project Description: The client has a constant increased need for the provision of full systems life cycle applications development on various computer platforms, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, employment/work engagement services, claims systems, etc., that are critical to the operation and functioning of programs, requiring periodic refinements to maintain the applications at optimum service levels. Having a project portfolio which properly reflects the user’s business needs and client's workload is crucial. Therefore, there is a need for IT consulting resources for the expanding responsibilities.
Tasks & Duties
- Initiate and implement testing
- Identify user stories and translate them into Test cases as required
- Create Test cases vs. RTM Matrix against the user stories to support application development
- Ensure that the application development is according to the quality assurance standards
- Execute Integration test cases covering all integration points with other applications
- Coordinate defect triage calls with design and development team.
- Coordinate with UAT team on UAT test strategy, and UAT test data.
- Coordinate UAT defect triage calls with UAT team
- Help team with performance testing
- Identify test automation scenarios
- Facilitate Postproduction verification for various releases
- Provide Management Reporting and Information dissemination
- Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented.
- Make recommendations for improvements based on client feedback
- Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to spec and on time
- Managing QA team activities – QA effort estimations, task allocations, creation of QA status JIRA dashboards and reports, facilitating QA signoff on meeting the defined exit criteria
